Terms of service.
Effective
Resonami helps you discover media through your ratings, personal library, and AI-assisted recommendations. These terms apply to your use of resonami.com and its related features. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please stop using it.
1. Your account
Use an email address you control and protect access to it. Keep sign-in codes and magic links private. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Contact us if you believe someone has accessed it without permission.
You must be legally able to agree to these terms. If your local law requires a parent or guardian’s permission, they must agree on your behalf before you use Resonami.
2. Responsible use
Use Resonami lawfully and respect other people’s rights. Do not:
- Access someone else’s account or attempt to bypass access restrictions.
- Disrupt the service, introduce malicious code, or abuse automated requests or provider quotas.
- Submit unlawful material or another person’s private information without permission.
- Copy or reuse protected content in ways that violate its owners’ rights.
3. Your library and feedback
You keep any rights you hold in information you submit, including your ratings and feedback. You give Resonami permission to store and process that information as needed to operate the service and personalize your experience, as described in the Privacy policy. Feedback you choose to send may be used to improve Resonami.
Ratings, watchlists, viewing dates, and hidden-title choices are personal records, not a guarantee that a recommendation will match your taste. Please avoid submitting sensitive information that the service does not need.
4. AI recommendations
Recommendations and explanations may be generated with AI. They can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or a poor match for you. Your ratings help shape suggestions, but particular results, complete catalog coverage, and enjoyment are not guaranteed.
Verify important title information, availability, age ratings, and content warnings with the relevant media provider. A recommendation is not a suitability or safety assessment.
5. Media information and other services
Resonami is a discovery and tracking service. It does not provide streaming access, copies of media, or a license to watch or download a title. Posters, artwork, titles, and catalog information remain subject to their owners’ rights and applicable provider licenses. See Poster credits for sources and attribution.
Third-party catalogs, AI providers, and linked websites may change or become unavailable. Their own terms apply when you use their services. Resonami does not control those services or endorse every item it recommends.
6. Privacy and analytics
The Privacy policy explains how account information, library activity, feedback, and analytics are handled. Optional Google Analytics is a separate browser choice, not a condition of using Resonami. You can change it through Analytics preferences.
7. Availability and access
Features may change, and maintenance, outages, or provider limits may interrupt the service. Continuous availability and permanent storage of your records are not guaranteed. Keep your own copy of information you need to retain.
Access may be restricted to address violations of these terms, security threats, abuse, or legal requirements. You can stop using Resonami at any time. Contact us with account closure or data requests.
8. Service limitations and your rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Resonami is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties about recommendation accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any consumer rights, guarantees, remedies, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
9. Changes to these terms
Updated terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect where required by law. Changes do not retroactively expand permission to use your personal information; any new consent required by law will be requested separately.
